## Core Belief
**AI-native people will build a world with more consensus, community, and abundance - but only if we lay the technical foundation for this new world. If we do not, global capitalism will rerun the social media playbook with AI and tear us apart for profit.**
## Who I Am: An AI-Native Advocate
Worked nights at a Grand Rapids polishing plant before joining the Navy. Military intelligence taught me how rigid hierarchies stifle innovation - and why distributed intelligence beats command-and-control every time. I moved from GRCC to Grand Valley to University of Michigan, where I led a 30-person team that built a scientific satellite.
After a decade in Michigan tech working progressively smaller companies and broadening my skillset, I honed my belief that :**Technology should make us time-rich not extract our attention and bring neighbors together not fragment our communities.**
I'm not a 10x coder. I'm someone doing very well in the current system who knows it's broken and believes it can do better for everyone. Over the past year, I've been building the alternative - starting with myself as the first AI-native user.
## The Vision: Three Interconnected Projects
### 1. Extended Cognition → Individual Empowerment
**What**: sovereign AI integration amplifying your impact
**How**: Voice-first, persistent memory, you own/control all data
**The Bet**: Empowering people will create personal freedom and an explosion of human potential, seeding the community with people more capable and open to solving complex collective action problems
### 2. Civic Engagement Platform → Consensus Lead To Change
**What**: Democratic decision-making tools for communities amplifying the collective impact of community
**How**: Values discovery, consensus building, shallow conflict resolution, core value conflict mediation
**Why Next**: Solving collective action problems that can alleviate aimless suffering and promote human flourishing
**The Bet**: AI can facilitate and overcome obstacles to local democratic governance. Make finding common ground easier, understand the other side so you when you are arguing, know you're arguing about core values. Make coordinating efforts easier, no endless meetings. Consensus enables collaboration on better societal integration with AI.
### 3. Abundance Localism → Collaboration Leads To Community Resilience
**What**: Technology coordinated resource-sharing and community investment time and money
**How**: Tool libraries, skill exchanges, time banks, mutual aid, commitment tracking, project management
**Why Next**: Reduce everyone's time burden through voluntary cooperation on projects that produce a positive ROI on individual time or money utilization...
**Vision**: Why should 20 neighbors own 20 lawnmowers?
**The Bet**: We can live better for less when resources(time/money) are voluntarily collectivized
**The Thread**: Empowered individuals → Better collective decisions → Shared abundance
## Why This Moment Matters
People remember when technology connected rather than isolated. When neighbors solved problems together. When work had meaning beyond consumption.
We're at an inflection point. AI's integration patterns haven't solidified. A small group can still change the trajectory from extraction to empowerment.
## What I'm Building Now: Becoming Visibly AI-Native
**September 2025 Demo**: Watch me live with extended cognition. See where the path to amplified impact started. Understand what AI-native really means.
I'm not asking you to imagine - showing you the future through my modeled integration.
